This will be a four part series on the Basics of Storytelling for kids and teens ages 11-18. We'll discuss the Hero's Journey model, creating characters, what makes good heroes and villains, first person vs. third person writing, writing for comics, and more. We'll also have some local published authors drop in to give their advice. Each hour and a half session will be split between one hour of discussion and 30 minutes of writing time with a goal of having a finished writing project by the end of the series.
